Arad Group won a tender in Spain through Contazara

The Company is proud to announce that on September 28, 2011, one of the Company's subsidiaries, Contadores de Agua de Zaragoza, S.A., a private Company which is listed in Zaragoza, Spain (hereinafter: "Contazara"), received a notice from the water corporation of Madrid, Spain (Canal de Isabel II) that it was the successful bidder in the tender for the supply of water meters to the total sum of 7 million Euro (seven million Euro). The water corporation of Madrid is the largest water corporation in Spain. The tender is for a period of two years and Contazara shall begin to supply the water meters during the fourth quarter of 2011.

Contazara manufactures a unique electronic meter which is integrated into a specially designated information system, developed by Contazara. The majority of the Contazara's business takes place in Spain

Arad exhibited as Arad Group for the first time at Wasser Berlin 2011.With a booth demonstrating Arad Group's capabilities in measuring, reading, collecting and managing data from the water metering to billing systems, the stand attracted many visitors from all over the world.

British Israeli Business Award

In an event organized by the British-Israel chamber of commerce (B-ICC) , Arad was named The Israeli company of the year 2010.
More than 300 senior business figures attended the event which was held at London's
Millennium Mayfair Hotel.
The award expresses the appreciation of the business community for the long time operation of Arad in the United Kingdom and the award of the Southern Water tender for the supply of water meters during the
next 5 years.
The UK was targeted by Arad years ago as the preferred market for implementing its products and services including water management systems.
The combination of sophisticated products with which Arad gained experience in the Israeli market in which water is not metered, assured the success of marketing efforts made by Arad.

Win of Tender in England for the Supply of Integrated Water Meters with Wireless Meter-Reading Systems (AMR) in a Total Scope of £36 Mil

The Company is pleased to announce that on January 15, 2010, the English water corporation, Southern Water (one of the largest Water Corporations in England) (hereinafter: “SW”) has notified Arad of its win of the tender for the supply of integrated water meters with wireless meter-reading systems (AMR) in a total scope of £36 Mil.

This is the biggest tender the Company has ever been awarded from a financial stand point.

To the Company's best knowledge, this tender is the first in England for the supply of integrated water meters with wireless meter-reading systems (AMR) for all customers, and is amongst the world's largest tenders for the supply of integrated water meters with wireless meter-reading systems (AMR) in the past years.

In accordance with the terms of the tender and based on information received by the Company from SW, the supply of water meters by the Company is expected to lapse over a period of 5 years (hereinafter: the "Supply Period"), such that the Company is expected to provide the SW water meters every year in a scope of £7.1 Mil. SW has an option to order additional integrated water meters with wireless meter-reading systems (AMR) at the end of the Supply Period for an additional period of 5 years and under similar terms.

The formal signing of an agreement for the supply of the water meters took place on 1 February 2010.

The award of the tender is the result of intense marketing activity performed by the Company in England in the last few years, in accordance with the Group's strategic plan. Such activity included the development of unique measures which adhere to English standardization in combination with sophisticated AMR solutions, which were developed by the subsidiary, Arad Measuring Technologies Ltd., and while taking advantage of the experience accumulated by the subsidiary, Master Meter, in the AMR field in the United States.
